From college prep to academic support, the Learning Center has programs that will help students hit the ground running this winter. Whether you want to get started on your college essays or get ahead with our winter course previews, we are here to help!
This class is for seniors and juniors taking the SAT this spring. Our award-winning, five-week immersion class incorporates daily instruction and targeted practice to establish simple strategies that students will actually use on test day. Each test section is taught by an instructor who is a specialist in the the disciplines of mathematics, reading, and writing. For more information on this program please click here.

SAT MaxPrep Classes
SAT Bootcamp
This two-day intensive class is for juniors taking the SAT this spring. Students will learn simple and repeatable techniques and strategies to use on their test day. For more information on this program please click here.

College Admissions Essay Writing
College Admission Directors increasingly acknowledge the importance of the application essay. Summer before senior year is the ideal time to tackle the essay. Students work one-on-one with our Admissions Essay Specialists. First they create a “personal marketing analysis” to identify the essay’s “big idea.” Students are then guided through the drafting process to a submission-ready essay.
Dates & Sessions: 6 one-on-one, individually scheduled sessions
Tuition: $295 BHS PTSO / $395 Other
Students can construct an individualized lesson plan based on their academic goals, whether it'd be help with AP work or developing effective study skills. You will be matched with a tutor most appropriate to your needs.
